8. Cookies and audience measurement

No measurement cookie or tracking tool is turned on without your consent. On your first visit, a banner lets you accept or decline audience measurement; declining is as easy as accepting.

If you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies that tell us how the site is used (pages viewed, visit length, device type). If you decline, nothing is loaded.

Your choice is saved in your browser so the banner does not reappear on every page. You can change it at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of each page, or by clearing the site's data in your browser.

9. How long do we keep it?

We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes it was collected for:

  • quote requests that do not proceed: 12 months;

After those periods, the information is destroyed or anonymized.

10. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you;
  • have inaccurate, incomplete or ambiguous information corrected;
  • withdraw your consent to its use;

  • receive your information in a structured, commonly used technological format;
  • file a complaint with Quebec's Commission d'accès à l'information.

To exercise any of these rights, write to the person named in section 2. We will respond within 30 days of receiving your request.

11. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information against loss, theft and unauthorized access: an encrypted connection (HTTPS) across the site, access limited to those who need it and protected passwords.

If a confidentiality incident presents a risk of serious harm, we will notify the people affected and the Commission d'accès à l'information, as required by law.

12. Changes

We may update this policy. The date of the most recent update appears at the top of the page.
